How to create a storyboard with Sora

Storyboard is an advanced editing and creation tool that allows users to control actions in sequence through familiar timelines. You can enter editing mode by clicking the Composer button at the top of the storyboard. In the subtitle card, you can describe the scene, the characters, and the actions you wish to happen at a specific point in time. Below the timeline is the area arranged in chronological order, which is consistent with the creative settings of a simple composer.

Here is a simple example of how to design a smooth video scene using a storyboard. Taking a red crane as an example, we will create a short video: red crane сначала Standing in the stream and then thrust your head into the water halfway up the timeline. Let's complete this process step by step.

Step 1: Create a storyboard

Card 1 - Opening Scene

Description: A red crane with a yellow tail, standing in a calm stream, the water flows gently, and the surrounding environment is naturally fresh.

This card sets the initial screen so that the audience can understand the starting point of the scene.

Card 2 - Action Twist

Description: About half of the timeline, Red Crane slowly lowered her head and reached into the water. Her movements were natural, and slight ripples appeared on the water surface.

This card introduces action to ensure a clear progress in the story.

Step 2: Pay attention to the spacing of cards

The time interval between cards is very critical:

The spacing is too close: the transition will appear abrupt, like hard editing, lacking the sense of smoothness.

Too far between: The system (such as Sora) may be filled with too much unnecessary details, causing the picture to be messy.

Appropriate rhythm: Putting Card 2 in half of the timeline will allow Honghe to move from standing to bowing naturally and smoothly, and the result will be more refined.

Step 3: Set up and generate videos

After completing the storyboard:

Select Landscape Mode to ensure that the picture is wide and suitable for the scene.

Click to generate a video. The final effect will be: the video starts with Red Crane standing in the water, and as time goes on, it gracefully dips its head in the water halfway through.

Step 4: Adjustment and Optimization

After generation, you can:

View the contents of each card, modify the description or action details.

Adjust the position and order of the cards, such as letting Red Crane bow their heads earlier or later.

Repeat optimization until the picture transitions naturally and in line with expectations.

summary

Through this process—create cards, control spacing, generate videos and optimize adjustments—you can easily create a sophisticated video with a storyboard. Try it, start with Red Crane and create your own story!
