Users simply update to the latest version of the ChatGPT app, and then find the Safari section in the device's Settings to enable the "ChatGPT Search Extensions" feature. When enabled, any search content entered in the Safari address bar will automatically turn to ChatGPT instead of traditional Google or other search engines. Although there is no option to directly set ChatGPT as the preferred search engine, this extension will undoubtedly provide users with a new solution.

OpenAI hopes that through this update, users can use ChatGPT to search information more easily. This move marks the further penetration of artificial intelligence in the search engine field, and users will be able to enjoy more personalized and intelligent search services. Whether it is querying daily problems or searching for complex information, ChatGPT can provide timely and relevant answers.

In addition, the launch of this feature also reflects OpenAI's continuous efforts to expand the scope and convenience of its products. Through its combination with Apple Safari, ChatGPT not only enhances its own use value, but also brings users a smoother browsing experience. This change is expected to attract more users to try and use ChatGPT, further promoting the development and popularization of artificial intelligence technology.
