Anthropic reaches $100 million in collaboration with Databricks to develop AI proxy tools

Anthropic and Databricks reached a five-year cooperation agreement with a total amount of US$100 million, focusing on developing AI agent tools to help companies handle various tasks. Databricks CEO Ali Goldsi said Anthropic's Claude model will be available directly on the Databricks platform, enabling customers to develop their own AI agents using company data.

Currently, both companies are under pressure to generate revenue to justify their huge valuations. Databricks is valued at $62 billion, while Anthropic is valued at $61.5 billion. To this end, Databricks is committed to improving the accuracy of AI agents, with the goal of reaching more than 95%, making them more practical in daily commercial use.

This cooperation is expected to promote the practical application of AI agents, enable enterprises to get better support when handling complex tasks, while improving market competitiveness for both parties and providing new tools and solutions for enterprise users.
