Apple is working hard to develop a new health app called "Project Mulberry" and plans to launch it simultaneously with iOS 19.4. This application will introduce technology with artificial intelligence assistant functions to provide users with personalized health management advice. However, the specific release date is not yet clear and may be launched within this year or postponed to next year. The new health app will collect data by connecting users' Apple devices and third-party applications, while the AI assistant will provide advice on health improvement based on this information. To improve the intelligence of AI assistants, Apple is working with several medical experts to generate content for the application and explain various health conditions and how they cope. For example, if an abnormal heart rate of a user is detected, the AI assistant may push a related heart health education video. In addition to optimizing existing features, Apple plans to let AI assistants use device cameras to evaluate users' exercise habits and provide advice. Although Apple's previous attempts in the AI field (such as Siri) have encountered some criticism, this time, exploration focusing on the health field shows that Apple hopes to provide users with more valuable services with this application. It is worth noting that Apple also plans to add camera support to its new Apple Watch in the future to enhance AI capabilities. The standard Apple Watch is expected to hide the camera below the screen, similar to the iPhone's design, while the high-end Apple Watch Ultra may have an additional camera next to the dial. Overall, Apple hopes to further consolidate its leadership in the consumer electronics industry through this health application and gain a place in the growing health technology market.
