According to TechCrunch, Browser Use recently completed a $17 million seed round led by Felicis's Astasia Myers, with Paul Graham, A Capital and Nexus Venture Partners participating. The company focused on making websites more "readable" to AI agents, founded last year by Magnus Müller and Gregor Zunic.
The technical core of Browser Use is to transform the buttons and interface elements of the website into a "text-based" format that is easier for AI to understand, helping AI perform tasks at a lower cost. Its technology has been adopted by Manus tools from Chinese startup Butterfly Effect and has been used by more than 20 companies in the Y Combinator winter batch.
Astasia Myers of leading investor Felicis said that Web AI agents are the key to the next generation of automated manual tasks. Address: https://browser-use.com/
