Delta Electronics launches D-Bot collaborative robot, announcing $500 million investment in India

Delta Electronics recently launched the D-Bot series of collaborative robots (Cobots) and a number of new products in the intelligent manufacturing market at the ELECRAMA 2025 exhibition in India. The event was held in Noida, northern India to promote automation of smart factories.

The D-Bot series of robots are specially designed for automated operations in smart factories and have advanced safety mechanisms. These 6-axis cooperative robots have a load capacity of up to 30 kg and can move speeds up to 200 degrees per second, greatly improving the working efficiency in electronic assembly, packaging, material handling and welding. In addition, they can seamlessly integrate with Delta's VTScada SCADA system, DIATwin digital twin platform and machine vision system to ensure accuracy and efficiency in industrial automation.

In addition to the D-Bot series, Delta Electronics has launched 240kW DC fast charging piles and industrial power protection transformer uninterruptible power supply (IPT series), further demonstrating its commitment to intelligent manufacturing and energy sustainability. This EV charging pile is a highly efficient dual-vehicle charging solution developed locally by Delta India's R&D and engineering team. It claims to be 95% energy efficient, OCPP protocol compatible, and supports wired/4G GSM connections for a variety of applications The demand for the scenario.

During the event, Delta Electronics also announced that it would invest $500 million in India, part of the company's commitment in 2015 under the government's "Made in India" initiative. The investment aims to expand Delta’s local presence in India and enhance its domestic manufacturing, R&D and innovation capabilities.
