Google Gemini adds document editing, coding tools and AI-generating podcast functions

Google recently launched two new features for its flagship AI product Gemini to further enhance the user experience. First, the Canvas tool supports users to create and edit documents and code directly in Gemini web pages and mobile applications. Users only need to upload documents and specify tasks, Gemini can quickly generate the required content, and support modification within the platform, and can also export to Google Docs for collaboration with one click.

Canvas is also excellent in encoding. Users can generate web applications, Python scripts and other codes through simple instructions and preview the results in real time. In addition, Gemini has introduced Audio Overviews, which enables users to easily generate and listen to AI-generated podcast content.
