According to media reports, Hitems, a creative items community founded by Ren Lifeng, one of the founding members of Douyin, recently successfully completed tens of millions of dollars in Pre-A round financing. The leading parties in the financing were Meituan Longzhu, Jin Qiu Fund participated in the follow-up investment, and old shareholders Sequoia China and IDG Capital also actively followed up. After this financing, the valuation of Shumeiwuwu Company reaches approximately US$150 million, which marks the further expansion and development of Hitems in the market.
Shumeiwuwu Company was founded by Ren Lifeng, the early product leader of Douyin. He was transferred to President of Xigua Video in 2020 and proposed the concept of "China Video", which profoundly affected the entire industry. In 2023, Ren Lifeng left Bytedance and began to explore VR hardware. Finally, in early 2024, he established Shumeiwuwu Company and launched the Hitems creative items community.
