Ele.me launches AI algorithm competition, 300,000 yuan is waiting for you to challenge

Today, Ele.me announced the official launch of an AI algorithm competition focusing on the local life field, aiming to explore how cutting-edge technologies can promote specific application innovation and improve the efficiency and user experience of the life service industry.

This competition has three major tracks: smart elderly care, smart knights and smart computing and commercial efficiency. Each track will determine 5 winning teams and share a total prize pool of RMB 300,000. The first prize is RMB 50,000, the second prize is RMB 30,000, the third prize is RMB 10,000, and two winning prizes of RMB 5,000 each.

The smart elderly care track focuses on the voice interaction system that accurately recognizes the intention of the elderly to order food through the Tmall Elf Ecology; the smart knight track focuses on the identification and judgment of the dangerous degree of riders' content "fire hazard shooting"; the smart computing business performance track is committed to establishing intelligent marketing models, predicting interactive conversions and designing intelligent solutions.

The participation in this competition is undergraduate, master's and doctoral students (including fresh graduates of 2025) from all over the country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). The registration time is from 12:00 on March 7, 2025 to 12:00 on May 16. The preliminary competition will start on April 7, and the rematch will be held from May 20 to June 15. The final defense and award ceremony will be arranged on June 16 and 17 respectively.

Ele.me said that the innovative design of contestants will have the opportunity to transform into real-life applications, allowing more people to directly benefit from the convenience brought by AI.
