In a modern business environment, sales teams need various resources to help them successfully reach a deal. However, there is no unified standard for improving sales capabilities. Some teams are underperforming in finding potential clients, while others require support to complete the deal. Against this backdrop, Regie.ai, a startup company, came into being and is committed to developing sales-enabled automation software, aiming to meet the needs of different teams by combining artificial intelligence and humanized communication.

Matt Mirren and Srinath Sridal, co-founder of Regie.ai, co-founded the company in 2021. Their goal is to build a content platform based on generative AI to enhance sales teams, rather than replace them. Sridal has worked at Google and Meta with extensive software engineering experience; while Mirren is former vice president of T-Mobile, responsible for the management of the national sales team.

Since 2022, the company has grown from initially providing marketing copywriting generation services based on the OpenAI GPT-3 model to its diverse product portfolio. Today, Regie.ai offers a range of tools, including an AI-powered sales sequence builder, and a “collaborative assistant” for personalized information and sales prospects. The platform aims to integrate communication processes across phone, email, and social media into a single system and improve the efficiency of these processes through automation and AI insights.

Sridal noted that Regie.ai is able to analyze website visits, interactions and intent data to determine the most appropriate next communication strategy. If the buyer is ready to participate, Regie.ai will decide whether AI will follow up or a sales representative will step in, thereby scheduling phone, email or social tasks. He said that the sales-enabled industry faces two extremes: on the one hand, it is the promise of completely replacing human AI software, and on the other hand, it is the traditional software that has not been innovated for many years. Regie.ai is committed to solving this problem.

As a San Francisco-based company, Regie.ai’s clients include well-known companies such as Crunchbase and Copado. Sridar revealed that the company's annual recurring revenue increased by 300% last year. To further expand, Regie.ai recently completed a $30 million Series B financing, led by Scale Venture Partners and Foundation Capital, with a total raised amount of $50.8 million. The new funding will be used to expand a team of about 75 people, especially in the areas of engineering and customer success.
