Roblox launches Cube, AI-powered 3D model tool, innovates game creation

Roblox recently released a 3D intelligent basic model called Cube, aiming to help game developers design game assets more efficiently. Through artificial intelligence, Cube can generate 3D objects, scenes, characters and programming scripts, and users can complete the creation by simply entering simple instructions.

In the test, Cube performed well when generating common objects, but still had room for improvement in the effectiveness of complex requests. David Bazuki, founder and CEO of Roblox, said that Cube is a collaborative assistant that will support developers to create more complete scenarios and interactive logic in the future.

Cube's core technology lies in the tokenization of 3D shapes, which realizes text-to-shape and shape-to-text conversion by converting geometric shapes into digital tokens. In addition, the researchers have introduced a new position coding technique to optimize the generation effect of complex shapes.

The launch of Cube marks an important progress in Roblox's 3D intelligent basic models, providing game developers with new creative tools.
