Recently, Rabbit released a blog post and a video showing its "all-rounded Android proxy". The agent is able to control applications on an Android tablet, showing the capabilities it lacks in the Rabbit R1 device promised a year ago. Although Humane AI Pin has already suffered setbacks, Rabbit seems to be working hard.

In this demonstration, instead of using the Rabbit R1 device, the engineers converted these instructions into operations on the Android tablet by entering requests on the laptop. For example, they asked AI agents to look up YouTube videos, look for whiskey cocktail recipes, and add the required ingredients to their Google Keep shopping list. Even more interestingly, they also asked the AI agent to download puzzle game 2048 and try to learn how to play it on their own, although the process seemed a bit slow.

While this AI agent can complete most of the requests, sometimes there are minor issues, such as sending a poem one by one on WhatsApp instead of sending the entire content at once. One engineer mentioned that they should include a newline in the request, but they did not try to resubmit the request. This shows that Rabbit's AI agents are still evolving and there is still room for improvement.

Since the launch of Rabbit R1, the company has been constantly making updates, such as giving AI agents the ability to complete specific tasks, or allowing it to redo its own interface. However, Rabbit pointed out in his blog that this demonstration is just a demonstration of the core operation loop of Android proxy. In the future, they will release more information about the "cross-platform multi-proxy system" and look forward to bringing users a more comprehensive experience.
