At the 2025 CES exhibition, Shanji officially launched its new overseas sub-brand loomos and launched a new product called loomos AI glasses. The hardware configuration and functions of this glasses are almost the same as the domestic version of the Shanji AI "Paipai Mirror", supporting up to 4K photo shooting and 1080P video recording. The difference is that loomos AI glasses are equipped with a voice assistant driven by GPT-4o, which can provide users with instant help, such as text translation, item recognition, parking space memory, and information retrieval.
The loomos AI glasses are expected to start crowdfunding on the Kickstarter platform around January 21. The official also announced that it will set up branches in North America, Europe and other regions to promote the expansion of Shanji AI glasses in the global market.
In terms of appearance design, Shanji has jointly cooperated with the well-known eyewear brand LOHO, and carried out an ergonomic design based on Asian facial features to ensure that it is comfortable to wear and will not oppress the bridge of the nose. The whole machine weighs about 50 grams and is equipped with a variety of magnetic sunglass lenses. It also comes with a magnetic front frame that can block the camera.
In terms of battery life, loomos AI glasses are equipped with three built-in batteries with a total capacity of 450mAh. They use a Pogo-Pin magnetic interface to support charging while wearing. In terms of shooting, the glasses are equipped with Sony's 16-megapixel camera, achieving the first 16-megapixel full-resolution photo quality on AI glasses, and supporting low-power video anti-shake and 123° ultra-wide-angle viewing angle.
In addition, the glasses are also equipped with Unisoc’s W517 chip and a storage combination of 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Based on this chip, Shanji launched its self-developed AI glasses platform architecture - Shadow Pupil 1.0, which supports all-weather wear, unlimited battery life, and independent mobile phone use.
In terms of sound experience, Sanji cooperated with the AAC technology team to launch the first super-linear Hi-Fi speaker, which supports dual DSP independent power amplifiers to achieve high-fidelity two-channel stereo sound. It also has dual AI algorithms for low-frequency enhancement and dynamic EQ. In the future, this product will support downloading audio sources through Wi-Fi to achieve lossless music playback.
Finally, the Loomo OS system equipped with loomos AI glasses can record and store multi-modal data, and provides various AI capabilities through the built-in AI application store, supporting multiple functions such as item recognition and text translation. This product will undoubtedly become a dark horse in the AI glasses market.
