Latest research shows that individuals using artificial intelligence (AI) can perform comparable to traditional two-person teams in their work. The study was participated by 776 experts, divided into two groups: team and individual, and some used GPT-4 and GPT-4o. The results show that individuals using AI have increased by 37%, reaching the level of teams without AI; teams using AI have increased by 39%, and significantly increasing the chances of high-quality solutions. In addition, AI has accelerated work speed and enhanced teamwork efficiency.
The study found that AI balances the gap between experts, especially among less experienced employees. Unlike expected, participants using AI felt more positive emotions, such as enthusiasm and vitality, while anxiety and frustration were reduced. Researchers suggest that businesses view AI as an additional team member rather than a mere productivity tool.
However, there are certain limitations in the research, such as AI is mainly used as a chatbot, and a single-day workshop fails to fully reflect the complex corporate environment.
