Zoom Company announced that its AI assistant, Zoom AI Companion, has ushered in new features upgrades, further transforming into a "smart proxy". These features are designed to improve interactive experience and productivity in video conferencing. New features include "Zoom Tasks", which automatically recognizes and completes to-do items in meeting summary, chat history and emails, such as scheduling subsequent meetings or generating documents, which are expected to be launched at the end of this month.
In addition, Zoom has launched a new voice recorder, which can be accessed through the Zoom Workplace mobile application, supporting transcription, summary and capture offline conversation content for convenient subsequent reviews.
Other new features include "Meeting Agenda" and "Workspace Booking", which helps meetings stay on track and manage a hybrid office experience, are both scheduled to be launched in May. Zoom Docs will also get enhanced features such as Advanced Reference and Datasheet Creation, which will be available in June and July, respectively.
For users who need more AI support, Zoom has launched the "Customized AI Assistant" additional feature, which can customize the technology according to needs, and the fee is US$12 per user per month, and is scheduled to be launched in April. All new features are still free for paid users, and Zoom continues to work more efficiently in various industries.
