Language Selection : If you want to use Japanese documents or have Japanese conversations with AI, enter "Japanese" in the language field and click "Continue".

Shortcuts and Vim configuration

Cursor AI allows users to customize shortcut key layouts to match the operating habits of different editors.

Shortcut options :

  • VSCode

  • JetBrains

  • Sublime

  • Atom

Vim and Emacs support :

  • In addition to Vim, you can also choose Emacs mode to suit different editing styles.

Codebase-wide: Global code search function

Cursor AI provides Codebase-wide functionality, which allows you to ask questions across the entire code base and leverages AI to analyze the entire source code to provide accurate answers. This is a valuable feature for developers of large-scale projects.

Command line configuration

You can start Cursor AI by entering "code" or "cursor" in the terminal.

About the "code" command :

  • "code" is the default startup command for VS Code. If you still need to use VS Code, it is recommended to keep this command for VS Code.

It is recommended to use the "cursor" command :

  • If you want Cursor AI as the main editor, you can select "cursor" as the terminal command to easily launch the application.

Register an account (recommended)
